| Mind-boggling separation technique used by Lars Borg and his colleagues to determine Rb-Sr and Sm-Nd ages and initial isotopic compositions of NWA 032. The abbreviations mean: WR, Whole Rock, hence not magnetically separated. UL, unleached (not put into hydrochloric acid). 2L, 4L, Leachate, solutions used in the leaching, with the number representing the strength of the acid, 2 normal or 4 normal. R, residue after leaching. Plag, plagioclase-rich separate. Mafic, separate rich in pyroxene. Ol-1, Ol-2, unleached, hand-picked olivine-rich samples. |
